PT Chitose Internasional Tbk has officially obtained Halal Certification following the approval process at the MUI Fatwa Council session held on October 29, 2025. This achievement marks an important milestone in the Company’s journey as a national furniture manufacturer committed to delivering high-quality, safe, and reliable products for all users across Indonesia.
Through this certification, not only chairs but also nearly the entire range of Chitose’s tested product lines—including tables as well as furniture categories for education, offices, hospitality, and healthcare facilities—have been declared compliant with halal standards in accordance with applicable regulations. This compliance covers the entire process, from production and raw materials to the halal assurance system implemented throughout the Company’s operations.
The implementation of halal standards is also in line with the increasing demand from the public and institutions for transparency in the production process. This certification adds value across various sectors that constitute the primary users of Chitose products, including schools, universities, community health centers, hospitals, government institutions, as well as private companies that prioritize regulatory compliance in their procurement processes.
With a long-standing history of more than four decades, Chitose continues to prioritize quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. This Halal Certification is expected to expand Chitose’s access to a wider range of sectors, strengthen public trust, and support large-scale procurement needs across various institutions.
