As a manifestation of its commitment to the education sector, PT Chitose Internasional Tbk carried out its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by distributing school chair (meubel chair) assistance to SDN Masigit 01 and SDN Masigit 02, located in Cilegon City, Banten, on June 5, 2025.
This activity was conducted in collaboration with the Cilegon City Education Office and forms part of Chitose’s contribution to supporting comfort and improving the quality of learning at the elementary education level.
The assistance was symbolically handed over by Ms. Shinta, a management representative of PT Chitose Internasional Tbk, alongside the Vice Mayor of Cilegon, who attended the event to witness the handover ceremony and engage with students and teachers. The Vice Mayor of Cilegon also expressed appreciation for Chitose’s contribution in supporting the education sector in the region. He welcomed the initiative as a positive form of collaboration between the business sector and the local government, which is expected to continue and deliver tangible benefits to the community, particularly in creating a more proper and comfortable learning environment.
The assistance provided consisted of a set of Chitose Manabu Series student chairs and desks, specifically designed to support comfort and proper sitting posture for elementary school students. The product features an ergonomic design, durable materials, and a structure that complies with national standards for elementary education needs.
This activity forms part of Chitose’s regular CSR program, which focuses on supporting education and creating proper learning environments, in line with the Company’s values of creating productive, comfortable, and functional spaces for all.
